I'm trying to play FEAR2 silently here!!

I just accidentally dropped my right earphone into a glass of orange juice. Feeling stupid, I carefully cleaned it out. When I was satisfied that the 'phone was completely dry, I put them both into my ears, ready for my nightly gaming.

That's when I discovered that the left earphone must have gone in the glass too.

    I thought it might have frazzled the earpiece and you either got an earful of sound or a small alien creature might have bored into your head, Chekov-style...

    I don't think I'll buy FEAR 2. Not yet. I keep changing my mind, but no. I don't think it has seduced me enough.

    I think it will be a must-have purchase when it goes down in price a bit. Until then, it's probably not worth it. It's great fun, but far too easy. I'm playing it on Hard and I'm nearly at the end, and it's only just become challenging.

    I may play it again, but it's not as well designed as the first game. The AI just doesn't have chance to shine here.
